New enhancements have been added to eLive Connect following the Resolution adopted by the eCaptiv PC1-IC, PC2-IC, PC6-IC and PC7-IC Executive Committees focused on enhancing loss prevention protocols.

Assignments
Company Supervisors can now assign educational materials—including courses, language proficiency exams, videos, podcasts, tailgates and trainings—directly to employees. Assignment functionality is available in the Supervisor Tools section, and instructions can be found in the Supervisor Guide.

Language Proficiency Exam
A Language Proficiency Exam has been added to the Courses section to comply with federal regulations and recent Executive Orders related to CDL driver language proficiency. The exam is accessible only through the Mobile Application.

Language proficiency is now a tactic frequently used by plaintiff attorneys under the Reptile Theory. A new Million Dollar Breakdown video is available featuring a $7.1M verdict involving an injured immigrant truck driver. The episode provides a quick overview of how plaintiff attorneys are approaching trucking cases—specifically how language proficiency and recent executive-order requirements are being leveraged in litigation. The Million Dollar Breakdown video can be viewed here.
