Employees are “Teaming Up for a Greener Tomorrow”
PEABODY, MA – Energi is participating, as a team sponsor, in the JP Morgan Chase & Company Corporate Challenge in Boston, Massachusetts on Thursday, July 12, 2012. The JP Morgan Corporate Challenge is a series of 14 races throughout the world and the most popular sporting event for the full-time business community. In 2011, the JP Morgan Chase & Company Corporate Challenge Series drew a record of 48,168 participants from 8,173 companies and donated more than $600,000 to local non-profit organizations. This was the largest number of participating companies in the history of the Corporate Challenge Series.
Over 25 Energi employees will be “Teaming Up for a Greener Tomorrow” and running the 3.5 mile race. Members of the Energi team have collaborated to design special t-shirts that reflect the company’s involvement in energy sector insurance and commitment to the community, as well as the Corporate Challenge’s theme of “Teaming up for a Greener Tomorrow.” The shirts were submitted for the annual Corporate Challenge t-shirt design contest and will be worn the day of the race.
“We are looking forward to participating in the Corporate Challenge for the first time and joining with other companies in the state of Massachusetts to make this day a success. This event is not only a way to promote team bonding but it also helps support local Massachusetts non-profit organizations. We plan to be associated with this worthwhile event for many years to come and will try to boost employee involvement next year.” Brian McCarthy – JP Morgan Chase & Company Corporate Challenge Energi Team Sponsor
